About me

Sean Murricane Hello there!

I’m Sean. Thanks for dropping by. I’m 31, I live in Leeds, but I’m Glaswegian by birth, Irish by heritage. My accent is seriously weird. I live with my wonderful and ever understanding wifeJo Murricane, our gorgeous daughter Emilia  – and four chickens. She took that picture of me. My wife. Not the chickens. or Emilia.

I’m a busy person. Most people say that about me. My day job is running the e-business function for Welcome to Yorkshire.

I spent five years in a band called March of Dimes, but I’m now working on a solo EP, and on the lookout for any other musical projects.

Jon, the singer from March of Dimes, and I ran a monthly night at Milo, on Call Lane in Leeds called Foxes and Convicts, named for one of the songs from the first March of Dimes album. Every month we would get to put on and watch some of the best live music from across the north of England (and even further afield) and that makes me very happy indeed.

Although we don’t do that monthly any more, I sometimes put on special events and broadcast them on Leeds Indie Radio.

I wrote and directed the first March of Dimes video – you can see it on the Dimes page – featuring lots of people that have been a part of Foxes and Convicts over the last year.

I’m a dab hand at WordPress based websites, and have recently been working on some freelance sites.

I’m a prolific tweeter and have made a whole bunch of great new contacts from there – so if you’ve found this site some other way, do drop in and follow my tweets, I’m @seaneeboy.
